I Did Not Lie

I honestly forgot I had a blog for most of last week... So here is a catch up on my life.

Tuesday, May 19, 2015:
Mass texted a person. Was told to basically fuck off (in the nicest way possible).

Wednesday, May 20, 2015:
I had work. One of the students asked why fossils do not form in lava. It took every bit of me to control myself. If you do not get it, well...

Thursday, May 21, 2015:
I got yelled at by the person who I mass texted on Tuesday. It was NOT fun.
I went to Sabrina's house and we got crafty. Which really means Sabrina got crafty and I sat in her bedroom playing around with her craft supplies. She made me a flower crown.

I also got into a fender bender. The person behind me had flat tires and well, yeah.

I also hosted a unofficial club bonfire. It was fun! I am thankful for Mike, Ericka, Sabrina, and Chris for being the first few people who showed up. We had buried Chris and Ericka in the sand. I would post the pictures of Chris on here, but he would kill me. I will not risk my life. Eventually, everyone else showed up and we played soccer, ate good food, and had lots of good conversation.

I don't even remember. Either this day was boring or bad.

Lara arrived in San Diego at 10 pm!

Saturday, May 23, 2015:
I had woken up at 4 am with so much energy. I rewatched Teen Wolf for 2 hours before I knocked out once again. Later that day, I met up with my friends for Marjorie's 20th birthday lunch at Urban Plates in Del Mar. I was still in shock from the fender bender, so I had Marjorie drive me. Happy birthday sweetie pie! <3 p="">

Monday, May 25, 2015:
I went to Joe's "Bye Bye Get Together". I am grateful that I arrived at the parking lot at the same time as Ashley and Ericka. We spent the rest of the day and evening at Joe's friends house. Thank you to Joe's friends for being so nice. I know I am not the most social when it comes to meeting strangers and being in strangers houses. I eventually warmed up enough to have some fun. Not many people I knew went to Joe's thing. I guess it was only a selected few who were invited. Nevertheless, I was glad to spend some time with Joseph, especially because he did not make the unofficial club bonfire.

Tuesday, May 26, 2015:
Woke up to the news of a girl who had died from the horrible floods in Texas. My parents freaked out and gave me a curfew. AWESOME.
I mean, I do appreciate the care they showed... but I live in San Diego. It barely rains here. Also, the location of where I live... well, let's just say, there is no possible way it would flood.

After I had left the house, I met up with an old friend of mine from high school (Erica) and we hiked Los Penasquitos falls. This trail is definitely one of my favorites in San Diego. Not only is it close by, but its fun to climb around the rocks. Some of the rocks are worn down enough that it can be difficult to grasps.

Erica and I left for lunch at Starbucks after. We were to meet up with Marjorie and Lara, but they either had work or bonding time with a parental.

Right as I arrived home, I received texts from Lara so I invited her over to my house. We tried to watch Once Upon a Time, but there is a reason why I am still on season 1. I cannot sit through it! It is too long of a show. Anyways, Lara and I fell asleep 15 minutes into the show.

This past week has been emotionally draining. But seeing my friends (especially my friends from home) reminded me what kind of person I am, and the kind of person I strive to be.  Let's be completely honest here. This month has been emotionally hard. I lost who I was from being upset all the time. Having a few days off from stress really helped me collect myself. I am happy that I am in a better mood. I will be able to properly enjoy my time with the people I love and care for better.
